Crown removal and disinfection machine for pineapple FT-315A
To help farmers in expanding the export market for pineapples and meet the packaging and quarantine requirements for exporting pineapples, FoodTec developed a crown removal and disinfection machine for pineapple. This machine not only removes the crown from the top of the pineapple but also incorporates a disinfection spray system. While removing the crown, it simultaneously cuts and sterilizes the pineapple from both the top and the bottom. Additionally, there has air knife to remove the excess moisture and sterilization water out the surface of the pineapple. Ensures the pineapple maintains its quality and freshness during transportation. Although removing the crown from pineapples needs an extra step and requires more effort in handling the cuts, treating the top and bottom of the pineapple with sterilization and preservation ensures optimal freshness. When sold in supermarkets, consumers won't get injuries when selecting products and safer to handle. This also saves space in shopping bags during purchases and reduces household waste and garbage disposal. Additionally, removing the crown bud from the pineapple, have more space for transportation, also save the energy of refrigeration, enhance the efficiency of pineapple processing and packaging plants.
